Marllos Silva is an actor, director, playwright, producer and lighting designer.

Executive producer of more than 20 theatrical productions. Founder of the BIBI FERREIRA AWARD the most prestigious award for plays and musical theater in Brazil. Founder of the FPTM – Festival Paulista de Teatro Musical - São Paulo Musical Theater Festival - the first festival in the country dedicated exclusively to originals musical theater productions.

 

For more than 16 years has been dedicated to musical theater research. Worked with directors José Renato Pécora and Iacov Hillel.

Recently, he directed the musicals MADAGASCAR – A MUSICAL ADVENTURE and the workshop of the Brazilian musical A ESCRAVA ISAURA, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, USA.

He is the playwright of the plays AMOR & PÓLVORA and ASSIM DIRIA SHAKESPEARE and the musicals: NOS EMBALOS DA JOVEM GUARDA SHOW; NOS EMBALOS DA JOVEM GUARDA, AMOR, OLD B'DWAY; The following projects planed to be staged in 2022 are the play O EMBATE, and the musicals O EMPREGO DA DOR, NOEL X WILSON, DIAS DE SETEMBRO.

Translated the book ACTING SONGS, by David Brunetti, now preparing the PRACTICAL GUIDE TO THEATER PRODUCTION.
