He had his training as a director working under the supervision of José Renato Pécora, Under his mentorship, he created and directed the project Musical dos Arcos. During his career besides being Jose Renato Pecaro Assistant Director for several years, he also worked beside Rubens Ewald Filho in the show Broadwish and as resident director of the duo Möeller and Botelho at the Brazilian production of Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella.

In 2007 founded the Cia. Nacional de Teatro Musical, where he directed the musicals Nos Embalos da Jovem Guarda (2007 – Teatro Brigadeiro) and Nos Embalos da Jovem Guarda Show (2008 – Teatro dos Arcos. 2009 – Teatro Folha). In 2022, Cia. Nacional de Teatro Musical will return there activities and present a new show Dias em Setembro.

Marllos also directed the musicals Amor (2010), Old B'dway (2010) and Broadway Classics, at 4Act Performing Arts - São Paulo.

​

Directed the plays Assim Diria Shakespeare (Teatro Viga – 2017), Amor & Pólvora (Teatro de Arena 2018).

 

His most recent work as a director was musical Madagascar – A Musical Adventure, an adaptation of the Dreamworks film.
